The Discovery of a Larger Feline Family
Once outside, the mother cat darted back to the carport, revealing a heartwarming surprise. She brought out five more kittens, one by one, expanding the small family to a total of eight. Realizing the enormity of the situation, the kind-hearted lady reached out to the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association (VOKRA) for assistance. Thanks to her timely intervention, the entire feline family was soon in the safe and nurturing environment of a foster home.

Despite the initial infection, Maria remained hopeful that with tender loving care, he would lead a normal life.
The care for Long John Silver involves a special liquid treatment for his leg, aiding in his healing process. Remarkably, this brave kitten has not let his disability slow him down. He’s adapting to life on three legs and showing signs of improvement every day.
