When people fall in ravines and there’s no one around, rarely anyone survives the night. That wasn’t the case with a British 83-year old woman who was saved by her cat. The woman went missing on August 21 near her home. She went for a walk but fell in a 70 ft. ravine with her cat trailing nearby.
Frightened for the life of her owner, the cat started meowing to attract attention. A neighbor heard her cries and called the police who were able to take the woman out and get her to a doctor.
Owns Her Life to Her Cat
The woman was found by one of her neighbors who was curious to inspect why the cat was meowing that loud. Piran the cat was the hero of the day when the police came and rescued the owner. She was admitted to a hospital immediately and received crucial medical care that saved her life.
According to the neighbor, the cat and her owner were very attached. It’s no wonder that she saved the human she loves the most. Let this be a lesson that cats care for their owners just like dogs. Piran the cat is living proof of it.
