Kitten Gets Rescued at the Right Time After His Tiny Paws and Tail Are Frozen to a Semi-Trailer

A five-week old kitten from Colorado was recently saved from death in the nick of time. The poor cutie was found frozen with his tail and paws to a semi-trailer. If it wasn’t for a shop patron nearby to spot it hanging off a tire, it would be trapped in place for who knows how long. He immediately called an animal shelter who sent a team that got the kitty out of the bad situation and got it to a vet.

Freezing Temperatures

Temperatures in Denver and all of Colorado are known to drop in October. Many unfortunate animals freeze outside, and that would have been the case with this kitten as well. Luckily for it, a Good Samaritan came to the rescue, and the kitten is now recovering well.

According to the team that responded to the call and got to the scene, it took them 20 minutes to free it. Once it was free, the kitten was taken to the Dumb Friends League shelter, where a vet checked it up. It was in surprisingly healthy condition. It was starving so they put it in a hot spot and gave it all the food it needs.

The kitten will go to a foster home until she’s 8 weeks old before being put up for adoption. There’s already an ideal candidate – the gentleman that saved her. If it wasn’t for him, the kitten may not have survived that night. Now, they will soon be reunited. We love it when fate aligns like that.
