The Journey of a Rescued Kitten
Bentley’s story began in a rather unusual place – inside an old car. This timid kitten’s life took a turn for the better when Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue in North Carolina came to his aid. His rescue marked the start of a new chapter, one filled with love, care, and a journey towards confidence.
Upon his arrival at the rescue, Bentley was immediately placed in a foster home. This new environment was a haven for him, offering a peaceful space to unwind and get accustomed to his new life. The turning point came when Sarah Kelly, the founder of the rescue, would enter the foster room. Bentley would greet her with his endearing, squeaky meows, a sign of his affection and comfort.
To enhance Bentley’s social skills, Sarah introduced him to other foster kittens of his age. These playmates were not just companions; they were instrumental in helping Bentley learn the joys of friendship and play. Among these new friends were a litter of kittens needing special care – the “snow kittens.”
The Snow Kittens: A New Family for Bentley

When the time came for the snow kittens to meet other fosters, Bentley was overjoyed. He quickly bonded with them, following them around as if he had always been part of their litter. Their acceptance of Bentley as their big brother was immediate and heartwarming.
