It’s not just dogs that get stolen – cats are often stolen too. Bob, a tabby cat owned by Giuseppina Roberts, was stolen from East Melbourne back in December. Her CCTV camera showed a woman walking by her home on December 1 before she stopped and scooped in Bob the cat, walking away with the cat in her hands.
Giuseppina was heartbroken and asked for help on social media. She showed everyone the video and was worried she’ll never find the cat. No one knew who the woman was, and the neighbors saw nothing. But, one night, she got a call from a Coldstream animal shelter. The cat was handed to the shelter and they managed to track her to Giuseppina.
The cat was reunited with her owner right away, and it was an emotional reunion. The 22-year old cat needs help every day, and now that he’s back with her owner, he’ll get all the cats and snuggles he needs.
